Roger King Roger was a third generation ginseng grower with a farm located in Marathon County, the prime ginseng area in Wisconsin. Roger produced mainly 4th year ginseng and is a former member of the Ginseng Growers Association of Wisconsin. Now retired in Door County, Roger is eager to share his vast knowledge of the history and lore of this intriguing plant. He’ll discuss how to grow, plant, harvest and market ginseng and will bring ginseng roots to demonstrate.
