Swiss Folk Music
Monroe, WI
The Monroe Swiss Singers are a well-loved fifty voice mixed choir.
Garbed in traditional clothing, they perform Swiss folk music including choral folksongs,
yodeling, accordion playing, alphorns, Swiss flag throwing, and coin rolling. Their programs include commentary that explains the music, including how it evolved,
and general information about Switzerland.
