Czech and Slovak Folk Music

She does so as a singer and a music publisher.  Sr. Anita specializes in providing recordings, sheet music, and translations of all kinds of music from the Czech Republic and Slovakia. 

In a program, Sr. Anita can sing and teach folk songs and how to pronounce Czech lyrics, the Czech alphabet, words and common expressions in Czech.  She can also do demonstrations about regional Czech folk dress and folk Betlems (Christmas nativity scenes).

High School, grades 9-12, ages 14-18

Costs

Fee plus expenses:

$200 fee per day and reimbursement for artist's expenses.

Program Needs:
Depends on the program.  Could need a sound system, tuned piano, music stand depending on the program and size of room.

Availability:
Flexible. Can travel 2-3 hours from Sinsinawa.
