Ho Chunk Traditional Culture
Wisconsin Dells, WI
Roxanne has lived most of her life helping to display Ho Chunk culture, as she was born and raised with the Winnebago Indian Museum as her family's business for 46 years. In her programs, Roxanne
shares the “maternal ways” of Ho Chunk culture along with artifact display. She brings garments, both male and female, and other items depicting the camaraderie of European and Native
American value systems.
