Indian Foodways

Kamlesh was born in
Lucknow, India. She taught herself many different traditional Indian dishes
after she married.
Today, she is regarded as a talented cook. For a program, she could prepare
several different Indian dishes. She explains the process and discusses the ingredients she
chooses. She is happy to talk about Indian culture and how it relates to
the food traditions. Make sure to try two of her specialties - poori and
halwa!
