Pat EhrenbergPat has been making quilts since 1984, carrying on a generations-long family tradition. In her program, Pat can give demonstrations of quilting, show quilts she’s made and explain how they came to be, lead hands-on sessions, or talk about the history of quilting including Civil War quilts, patterns and techniques of quilting.

Program Formats

A general presentation

An introductory workshop

Best for Ages

Early elementary—general presentation only, no hands-on
Grades K-2, ages 5-7

Upper elementary
Grades 3-5, ages 8-10

Middle school
Grades 6-8, ages 11-13

High school
Grades 9-12, ages 14-18
*Pat finds that this age group typically isn’t interested in quilting, but is willing to work with an enthusiastic group.

Adults, ages 18 and up

Artist fee:

$200

Expenses:

Mileage plus reimbursement for supplies

Program Needs:
A display table. For a hands-on workshop, tables, chairs and scissors for students.
